Prizes: We will have real 5E cards to mail out to the grand prize winner! (Exact cards will depend on the faction of the winner.) In addition, one new player (or a player who has not joined an online tournament - other than our August Bonus Bracket Event - since January of 2025) will get their choice of one pre-constructed Ancients deck!
Sign-ups: Decklists are due by 10pm EST Wednesday 2/4 to the Eagle deck checker (AKA, “Bobby 2.0”). Late signups will not be permitted.
Event Start: Thursday 2/5/25 @ 10 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Format: Ancients Plus. This will be the Ancients format, with all Into the Accordlands legal. ITA prints will be considered MRP for cards like Ciane. Box of Greed changes, like Aida or Corinne Drac, are NOT yet in effect. As an exception to typical ancients rules, damage types exist and Sleight of Hand is allowed as a feat.
Tournament Structure: Matched Swiss Pairs. Rounds will be a 3-per-week format. Rounds will be posted on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays. 5 or 6 preliminary rounds depending on numbers, then cut to an 8-player or 16-player single-elimination bracket, depending on numbers, with play-ins in case of ties.
The Ugly List: Ugly Ancients — Saga of the Storm. Playing an Ugly Warlord will earn you more Circuit points (if you win).

MRP, Errata and Bans: As a reminder, Tzin’s Secret is banned and Wyvern’s Flames, A Prophecy Fulfilled and Negotiated Surrender are unbanned. Also, the Appendix referencing old traits and new traits will be considered MRP (and the Accordlands website should reflect that accurately).
Duanna is banned.
Halo of Secrets is considered to have the following text, instead of what is printed: "May not perform actions other than the following: Spend React: After a Deverenian is targeted by an action (not a melee strike): Cancel the action. This action may not cancel Standard Orders." The standard orders are attacking, equipping an item from hand, and maneuvering.
Amulet of Waking is considered to have the following text, instead of what is printed: For the purposes of card effects, targeting, and react triggers (not game effects or other parts of a cost), this character is always considered ready. This character may perform non-Spend actions while stunned.
