Prizes: The winner will get one free sealed booster pack of Into the Accordlands (in all its clumpy glory) from your friendly neighborhood Medusans! In addition, one randomly selected new player (who has not joined our online circuit events since at least as far back as May of 2025) will be selected to also win a free sealed booster. And, that’s not all… EVERY new player will receive one free Warlord in the mail!

Sign-ups: Decklists are due by 10pm EST Wednesday 5/6 to the Eagle deck checker (AKA, “Bobby 2.0”). Late signups will not be permitted.

Event Start: Thursday 5/7/25 @ 10 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Format: Ancients - including the MRPs from the Box of Greed. (NOTE: for this small number of select cards, you may need to select the “BoG” version of the card in Untap to ensure you have the most up-to-date wording.)

Tournament Structure: Matched Swiss Pairs. Rounds will be 90 minutes, best of three, in a 3-per-week format. Rounds will be posted on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays. 5 or 6 preliminary rounds depending on numbers, then cut to an 8-player or 16-player single-elimination bracket, depending on numbers, with play-ins in case of ties.

The Ugly List: Ugly Ancients — Saga of the Storm. Playing an Ugly Warlord will earn you more Circuit points (if you win).

MRP, Errata and Bans: For this event, the following changes apply:

Halo of Secrets is considered to have the following text, instead of what is printed: "May not perform actions other than the following: Spend React: After a Deverenian is targeted by an action (not a melee strike): Cancel the action. This action may not cancel Standard Orders." The standard orders are attacking, equipping an item from hand, and maneuvering.

Amulet of Waking is considered to have the following text, instead of what is printed: For the purposes of card effects, targeting, and react triggers (not game effects or other parts of a cost), this character is always considered ready. This character may perform non-Spend actions while stunned.
