Warlord: Saga of the Gathering: With new Warlord cards coming out any year now, the Medusans have decided Warlord deck building needs an update! And why look any farther than the most successful collectible card game of all time? This entails the following changes:
Decks must have a minimum of 60 cards (including starting army).
No more than 50% of a deck can be of any one card type (character/action/item/dungeon).
Maximum of 4 copies of any single card. This does not override Epic, Restricted, Overlord/Dragonlord/Daemonlord limits, or any other restrictions on the number of a particular card in your deck (Zartoch stays at 5, for example).
Players will have the opportunity, at the beginning of each game, to take a London mulligan. At the beginning of the game, after opening hands are drawn, but before intitative is rolled for turn one, a player may shuffle their hand into their deck and draw back up to their opening hand size (5 for most Warlords, 6 for Saunginel, 1 for Rreg’jen). That player must then take a number of cards from their hand equal to the number of times they have mulliganed and place them on the bottom of their deck. Players may repeat this process as long as they have at least one card still in hand, with each subsequent mulligan resulting in an additional card placed on the bottom. Mulligans may only be taken at the beginning of the game, not on subsequent turns. NB: Card text cannot and does not interact with any aspect of the mulligan, except for determining opening hand size.
