In the mid 90’s to early 2000’s Alderac Entertainment Group was making card games like it was going out of style. Games about samurai, cowboys, pirates, and eventually a card game to tie into the popularity of high fantasy roleplaying games titled Warlord Saga of the Storm. To make Warlord they would need new game mechanics and a completely new story. But the true foundation of Warlord, the bedrock upon which countless people have enjoyed it for now two decades, was the iconic imagery and the artists who made them.
Digitally gathered with us to answer our questions and peddle their wares we have some of Warlord’s most cherished artists. The people that put a face on the game we love and a sword in the hand of our favorite heroes. During the week of April 26th through May 2nd you will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of art-related items including playmats, mousepads, original paintings & sketches, commission sketches, and yes… even hot sauce. It’s related, don’t ask how. Each artist will have a ‘Sales Page’ listed below their picture on their show date. Go there for information on what the artist has available and how to purchase it.
Many of the artists have agreed to use the same printing service for prints, playmats, and mousepads which means you can shop throughout the week, or wait until the very end and submit your orders for those all at once. Most items are print-to-order and you will have the ability to combine shipping on multiple items made through the Art Show.

Q. Are the shopping windows tied to the day the artist’s pages go online?
A. Nope! Anything produced through the Art Show can be made to order throughout the week.
Q. Can shipping be combined for items purchased through the Art Show?
A. Yes! But items purchased directly through artists, their websites, or Etsy shops are separate.
Q. Is there a way we can get an Art Show item without the logos?
A. Possibly! Just shoot an email when you’re ready about the specific item you’re interested in.
What is a Warlord event without a battle? Each artist will be nominating one of their illustrations (not the card, just the image) to participate in a battle royale for the ages at the end of which only one image will be left standing. The question posed to the artists and the community is “Who would win in a colosseum style battle royale?” Imagine that each image has joined the fray. The artists have chosen their champions, but stay tuned for how you can choose yours! The winning and runner up artists will both win cash prizes!
